The versatile Leica Geovid HD combines the functions of watching and rangefinding in optical and electronic harmony, while also performing admirably as a simple, “grab and view” binocular for use in any situation. The device features a 42-millimeter goal to be attained lens, bettered light transmission thanks to new Fluoride glass, a 125-meter field of view at 1,000 meters, and water-repellant AquaDura lens coating.
Durability is built in. The housing is constructed of cast aluminum for scaled down weight and increased ruggedness, and it is nitrogen filling does away with lens fogging. Precision processing warrants solid performance in averse conditions, and the unit is waterproof to a depth of 16.5 feet.
